A Gentle Bang

I am a human being who is categorized as an Indian on the basis of nationality, a management educator on the basis of passion, a management advisor on the basis of profession and Vasant Bang by name & surname respectively. A native of Amravati in Maharashtra, I grew up in a small City with big dreams overshadowed by perception of a good boy, a trophy to be cherished, may be admired. But being admired is not the same as being loved for simply ‘being’ without any medals. Admiration on winning medals sometimes weighs too heavily to carry on life without pressure to prove. But that certainly is not something unique with me only. Everyone ultimately finds his / her true calling. Some find it at 15 but may lose it on the way. Others wander in search and find it at 51, again no guarantee that they will continue with it till their last breath. I belong to the second category who is blessed with doting parents, a lovely wife & a son besides big hearted friends who will hopefully keep me on track. Physically I am located in Pune but my soul wanders all over trying to connect with fellow humans independent of their nationality, religion, caste, community, region, language, gender and class.
